-The Quilts- My mother was a Quilter from Tennesse. I disliked anything to do with Quilting till I spent months sleeping in her sewing room while caring for her in her terminal state. The Lone Star pattern has crept in as a theme in many paintings. You will also see pairs of Quilt squares in many of the paintings, my Mom was an identical twin, her sister "Becky" continues to make incredible quilts still in TN. Also my wife Lizzie and I had Twins (Hope & Finn) a couple years ago. The duality of twins, life & death, Dark and Light are themes I am exploring here.
